I grew up in Ridgefield, Connecticut and I LOVE my family; Denise, Janelle, Jocelyn and Andre. All of their partners and children are amazing. My mother and father, Doris and Ray, have since passed on. We’re very proud of our French Canadian heritage on both sides. We all believe our French meat pie is the best.
I’ve lived in New York City for quite some time now and have been very fortunate to have spent most of those years working in musical theater on and off Broadway and all over the country. Some of my favorite roles have been Dawn and Angel in THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS and Emma Parker in BONNIE & CLYDE – both on Broadway. Off Broadway – Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. And regionally – Patsy Cline in ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE, Jo Carlson in COWGIRLS and Miss Shingle in A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER.
I had a great time working opposite Jamie Foxx in the new film version of ANNIE and then what a treat to play opposite Andrea Martin in the TV show DIFFICULT PEOPLE.
I’ve been featured on the cast albums: WOODY GUTHRIE’S AMERICAN SONG, KEEP ON THE SUNNY SIDE and BONNIE & CLYDE. But what I’m most proud of are my two lullaby albums; LULLABIES OF BROADWAY and LULLABIES OF BROADWAY ACT II. Both were recently picked up by Van Dean’s Grammy Award winning record company BROADWAY RECORDS. If one person can truly make a difference, my hope with these albums is to bring peace, love, and comfort to as many children as possible around the world and in doing this create a more loving and peaceful world for them to live in.
